I went to a card swap with some friends that was hosted by D's teacher from last year. She is a nice lady, and D absolutely LOVED her class.

Me- I'm going to Mrs. W's house for my card swap tonight D.
D- Cool!! If M starts to cry, I'm sure Mrs. W will hold her for you. She's nice like that.

As M & I were leaving...
Mrs. W- I sure miss D in my class. He is such a sweet boy.
Me- He is!!
Mrs. W- He comes up to me every afternoon and gives me a hug on his way home. He is so patient. He waits for all my new 1st graders to be done, then he says 'Hi Mrs. W' and gives me a hug. It makes my day!
